A dead game, coming back to life

Deepworld was a 2.5D steampunk sandbox MMO — mine, build, craft, and explore a vast always-online world of brass, copper, and strange depths, alongside other players. It was shut down in 2019, with no way left to play it.

This is the revival. A faithful, preservation-minded rebuild to make Deepworld playable again — for the people who loved it, and anyone discovering it for the first time. This page is where you can follow along as it comes back together, update by update.

Your ButlerBot companion is already up and running in-world.
